The Getty Villa, Malibu

Fairly hidden along the rocky coastline of a California beach lover's favorite highway, PCH, is this gem: The Getty Villa (often confused with her sister museum, The Getty Center located in Los Angeles). This past Sunday, my friend Grace and I decided to pay this highly revered place a visit, and we were definitely not disappointed! If you are a Roman and/or Greek history buff like myself, this is most definitely a place for you! Filled with art you can literally touch (although you are advised not to by the multiple security staff and signs scattered around the premises), gardens so gorgeous you would think you stepped on the set of a European film, and balconies overlooking the glittery Pacific ocean (a view that would take anyone's breath away), this place is nothing short of spectacular. Here are just a few of my favorite photographs from our visit!

And if that wasn't already magical enough, this place is completely FREE (except for parking, which is only $15. Definitely manageable and you can split it with a friend!) All you have to do is reserve your ticket here.
I highly recommend going, you won't regret it! xx

Oh, The Places You Will Go: An Introduction

To start, I'd like to properly introduce myself: My name is Andreece, Reece for short. California grown, I'm a singer with dreams of seeing as much of the world as I possibly can before my time on Earth is up. So far, my voice has taken me to some pretty incredible places: from the gondolas of Venice to the beaches of Hawaii and the Bahamas, I have seen some truly beautiful people, places and things. So before I begin posting new things on this blog, I want to take a moment to celebrate the magical memories I've already had the blessed fortune of making!

Needless to say, I have had some really special opportunites over the last few years! And I wouldn't trade the memories I've made for the whole world. Here's to moving forward and creating even more magical memories of a lifetime! xx
